Ordering through our website
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication, are quoted in pounds sterling and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. Postage and packaging will be calculated separately and is an additional cost unless otherwise stated. Postage costs are dependent on weight and will be shown at checkout before you proceed with your payment.
Payment
Payment for your order should be made as per the specification on the website. Card payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit and Maestro.
Island Botanics provides a secure payment system for all online payments. Payments can be submitted online using the most stringent commercially available level of encryption. Your private information will be encrypted at all times whilst in transit over the Internet. You should see a solid padlock in your browser status bar which indicates that the encryption is taking place.
Delivery
We currently accept orders and delivery to UK addresses only. We will normally dispatch all stock items to you within 3 working days of receiving full payment. We will send you a confirmation e-mail when your items are dispatched. We ship using Royal Mail 1st Class and Parcelforce. We will contact you should there be any delays.
Availability of Products
Our website includes details about the availability of products, however, sometimes an item will go out of stock before the information is updated. Returning or Exchanging an Item
Damaged or Faulty Goods
We are committed to ensuring that our products are of the highest quality. If you receive a faulty product please return the item to us within 14 days of receipt. We will refund the full amount or provide a replacement item at no further cost to you. Please provide your contact details and the reason for the return.
Other Returns
If you are not entirely happy with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 14 days of receipt. We will be happy to offer you an exchange or, if you wish, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, unopened and with the original packaging. Return of an item is at your own cost unless the item is faulty. A redelivery charge (at our standard rates) will apply to all items returned for exchange.
Product Variations
Please note that product colour and texture variations occur occasionally. This is due to the handmade manufacturing process, where our products are made in small batches using natural raw plant ingredients. As our products are hand cut variations in weight may also occur.
Your right to cancel
You have a right to cancel your entire order in writing within seven days of receipt and receive a refund of all charges. You will then need to return the item(s). Parcels returned by post are returned at your own cost.
Data Protection and Privacy Policy
Island Botanics collects the information provided by customers at the time of ordering and uses this information lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. This information is collected to process customer orders and also to provide the highest level of customer service possible. We will never pass your information on to third parties.
